The Global Health Emergencies Course (GHE Course)
This annual state-of-the-art international course is aimed at healthcare providers engaged in global health work. Taught by over 35 leading experts from around the world, the two-week course focuses on the global fund diseases, non-communicable diseases, complex humanitarian emergencies, research methodology, programming, policy and financing. Residents interested in overseas work are strongly encouraged to take this course.

Global Health Grand Rounds
The Global EM Program, in collaboration with others at Weill Cornell, sponsors a monthly lecture series (schedule available in advance) where invited speakers are typically leaders in public health from around the world. Past speakers have included heads of leading international institutions, UN agencies, and heads of state. Residents are encouraged to work with the scheduling chiefs to maximize their participation in the Grand Rounds series.
