mumbaiVOICES is a unique web-based data collection platform aimed at promoting citizen-driven analysis of disaster response systems. Initially deployed in the aftermath of the terror strikes in Mumbai in 2006, its findings influenced the conceptualization, and implementation of Mumbai's first inter-agency disaster drill focused on medical response (MEMEx). mumbaiVOICES and the subsequent www.haitiVOICES.com (in partnership with the United Nation's sub-clusters on Child Protection and Psychosocial Response) are overseen by Dr. Satchit Balsari.
